Managing several teams and projects in Jira can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to planning and tracking time and effort. We created the PTIAS PI-Planning Board and the desktop companion to help teams plan their PIs and Sprints, Log their time effortlessly, maintain clear issue hierarchies, and gain insights into their workloads and productivity. Our mission is to empower agile teams to focus on what they do best - delivering value - while we take care of the gears.
Our story
It started with a simple unanswered question
During years of product and projects management, leading R&D teams, there was always this one annoying question we could never answer - How much time did each team member invest on a feature / epic / story ? So we kept on telling ourselves that the effort estimations are the most accurate numbers we can get. But does it really have to be so complicated?
We love Jira, we really do!
But we just needed a dedicated tool for Sprints & PI-Planning that is not only visual and fully integrated with Jira , but also provides all the right indicators and analysis so that we get the full picture along with the details while planning our next steps. But why are we doing this?
Because we feel the pains - Years of leading R&D teams and managing projects in Jira taught us that we were wasting precious time on the technical issues of resources and efforts management instead of focusing on our Business Goals. And that had to change.
Wait? Is that it ?!
Not really, We explored several annoying issues that no one wants to deal with - like maintaining GANTT charts based on Jira Issues - it's impossible to create all the links/dependencies between each and every issue you create, so we solved that and also added a LINKS MAP feature and some more analysis features into the desktop app and a mobile app is on its way soon! So stay tuned, because we are coming back with more!

Privacy & Security
PTIAS works according to Atlassian's security guidelines and best practices to make sure our app is secure and respects your privacy. Jira issues data never passes through PTIAS servers and we do NOT save any of your tokens or Jira issues contents on our server, those are communicated between your desktop and your Jira server only. PTIAS Code goes through constant scanning using tools such as Snyk, SonarQube and others.

The PTIAS PI-Planning board will tell you exactly which issues are missing those, and yes, that includes their children issues!
Empty epics ? Missing stories?
Create all the feature's or epic's content as children Jira issues while linking them to blocking each other's progress if you want.
Simple addition of items to the board
If the issues are already in the sprint, they will appear on the board, if you wish to add more, just use the issueKey , JQL, or right click an item to import all its children. It will sync with Jira immediately
Integrated confidence voting
We believe in democracy! Everyone gets to vote and that is part of every board.
Remember the last PI planning commitment?
No more copying and pasting, just take a snapshot of the board and let the snapshot track its own progress.
One developer on 3 different teams?
With the simple summary of assigned story points / effort estimation you can tell if he is overloaded in the sprint or free to take a few more items
Your own branding in place
As a board admin you can choose the branding of the board and its colors
Full control of the board view
You choose the board colors, the issues colors, the links colors, even the team and sprints colors
Issue cards view and content
Full control over the contents of the issues cards - You choose which Jira fields will show in the cards and how.
Role based access to your board
Board admin gets access to the board settings panel and its contents, Editors get full functional control and Viewers can only see it but not change anything. We do not charge for Viewers seats.
PTIAS does not save your Jira issues
We built the PI Planning in a way that your issues contents does not even pass through our servers, it's all between you and your Jira instance.
